In that case I hosted it by uploading the picture to Facebook and then copying the image URL and sticking it between [ img ] link here [ /img ]  without the spaces between the brackets. You can click the icon below the Bold button to put the code in automatically and then just paste the URL. It should work fine with deviantart -- that's what I normally use, but my browser is being wonky and deviantart's being mega slow for me.
