What is a typical percentage ratio of active/registered on a forum?

In Internet culture, the 1% rule is a rule of thumb pertaining to participation in an internet community, stating that only 1% of the users of a website actively create new content, while the other 99% of the participants only lurk.

We are doing pretty well, tbh.  Consider yourselves interesting and engaging.

I was half joking. A long time ago I created an account and never used. I had forgotten the password/email/username by the time I created this one. But it was probably deleted, so like I said, I'm down to half now.

Haha. Actually, if it wasn't like MCDonnal or random something, it might still be safe. If you ever want it back and remember the name, let us know and we can change the password for you (there are only a certain number of people posting vs. not posting on this forum - if it was a name on v1, then that isn't even an issue).

Just look at Curethan's post history. He changed his display name to be all fancy somewhat recently, but this username remained the same. When you chage the display name, all your posts/history/Quorum posts update to show that name.

I'm lost . Like I understand what you are describing, I can see the two spots to fill out. But do you just erase the display name when you want to use the other again? What sort of function is that?
