Which is a very fancy and 40Kesque way to say, I had enough being a lurker (it has been a few years, probably since 2012) and I want to join the party.

I was initially introduced to the Second Apocalypse during a short trip to Rome back in my student days. One of my friends, the very same who converted me to Terry Pratchett, Tolkien and Warhammer, told me I should check out this new fantasy series. Anyway as it turned out, I missed my flight back to London (I used to study there) so I spent one summer night at the airport reading about the impending Second Apocalypse.

I read the Prince of Nothing books back to back and then as the Aspect Emperor books were coming out, I was getting more and more impatient.

I have just finished reading the Unholy Consult and there are so many things I want to discuss, so I thought to join this forum. The more I ponder on it, the more I like it, because initially I was a bit surprised with the end.

Anyway, I shouldn't make this post too long.

Well met dear friends and I look forward to our discussions.

Ah, The Bloody-Handed God, eh?

Welcome.  I miss the old Warhammer Fantasy lore.  Hell, I miss the game itself too, before they eviscerated it...
I am a warrior of ages, Anasurimbor. . . ages. I have dipped my nimil in a thousand hearts. I have ridden both against and for the No-God in the great wars that authored this wilderness. I have scaled the ramparts of great Golgotterath, watched the hearts of High Kings break for fury. -Cet'ingira

Welcome to the forum! :)

As far as I am concerned Warhammer and 40k are the origins of all that is grimdark!

and a spot of war making and blood-letting
